Railway stations built

THE structures of four railway stations have been completed and a business circle will be built around the Mingzhu Station, a project executive announced.
The 22km Zhuhai Section of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai Intercity Rapid Mass Transit (RMT), encompassing five stations -- Jinding, Jintang, Mingzhu, Qianshan and Zhuhai, commenced construction in December 2005. Work on the Zhuhai Station will begin by the end of October.
The three-storey structures are 230m long and 16.75m tall. The second floor will be the waiting hall and the third floor the station platform. Two passenger accesses and five business gateways have been designed. Furthermore, shopping malls, office buildings and hotels will be constructed in the neighbourhoods.
The Zhuhai Section is expected to be completed by October next year and the RMT will come into operation in November 2010.
